ENYO 10-Year Anniversary

On September 7th, 2016, after my breakthrough with Card Crawl (released in March 2015), I released my “second” game, ENYO, a small-scale tactical roguelike. Earlier that year, heavily inspired by Hoplite, one of my all-time favourites, I had created a 7DRL game jam version of ENYO called Hook & Shield. I teamed up with Winnie Song, whose work I knew from her split-screen PvP game Badblood, which still amazes me to this day with its slick art style and presentation. About six months after the jam, we released ENYO on mobile.

ENYO still has quite a few dedicated fans, so I wanted to create a small anniversary update that fixes long-standing issues and overhauls and simplifies some of the game’s mechanics. I also added translations and some graphical improvements.

Since Winnie wasn’t available this time, Mexer jumped in and created a sick anniversary banner. Shout-out to him!
